I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. I hold a degree in BSc. Botany, 1990; M.Tech, Crop Production (Entomology), 2000 and PhD, Crop Management, 2006. I was a two-time Head of the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology and Director, Industrial Training Unit that coordinates the Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme. The positions which I relinquished in August, 2017. I have been in the teaching profession for 16 years where I have been teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Apart from teaching, I have also been actively involved in research and developmental projects.In my research findings which had focused on the use of plant extracts in the control of storage and field pests, I have had several breakthroughs most especially in the adopted use of plant extracts in the control of insect pests and mosquitoes. Consequently, I belong to several International Organizations, such as The American Phytopathological Society, CropWorld and the Entomological Society of Nigeria. I am also a 2015 Book for the World Awardee of the American Phytopathological Society.
